Umarex USA recently sent their new Colt Peacemaker Pellet Pistol to us for testing. To do justice to this, HAM has engaged the services of the band of desperadoes you see in these photographs!
Sundance Harry and his pals will be running the Peacemaker through its paces. And this is how they plan to do it…
“Howdy Pardners! Welcome to Ranch Laramy. I’m Wyoming Whiskers, and this is my horse Maila. We hope you’ll keep an eye out for Sundance Harry’s two part series on this Colt Peacemaker pellet pistol It’s the Pellet version of Colt’s 1873 Single Action Army and we love it around these parts. That’s me and Maila in the photograph above.”
“Sundance Harry (he’s the dude on the right, below) will be giving you the skinny on how you can safely relive your childhood Cowboy fantasies with the gun that cowboys, lawmen, miners and some of the boys in Dodge called the Peacemaker. It made all men equal in our wild west.”
“Below. Cowboy action competition is shot with two Single Action Revolvers, a Lever Action Rifle, and a shotgun. But for those who are just beginning to explore Cowboy Action. The best gun to start with is the SA Revolver. And the most economical gun to use to get the flavor of this sport is the Colt Peacemaker Pellet Pistol.”
“Above. Marshall Kenny Hittum and Iron Burner will outline how you can set up cowboy action shooting scenarios, using safety rules defined by the Single Action Shooting Society.
Then we’ll hand the gun to Marshall Kenny Hittum for a performance analysis, giving you some details about what you can expect from a fixed sight revolver that demonstrates some surprising ballistics and accuracy on the range.”
“Meantime, until we meet up again soon, keep a sharp eye out for a nice tooled holster, a distinctive cowboy hat, and a safe place to shoot. And I’ll be saddling up Maila (Icelandic for Painted) to join you out on the range.”
